Breakfast
– banana
Lunch
– leftover spaghetti
Dinner
– corn on the cob
Snacks
– peanut butter, cheese,
watermelon, 3 doughnuts, 4 doughnut holes
Up at 5 AM, went to bed
at 10 last night, slept restlessly. A trick to lose a couple pounds
overnight. Busy thinking about the show on Saturday and the VA weigh
in today.
Well, I didn't drop
much since the last weigh in 2 weeks ago, but it is a new low for
Diet 1. Considering all the picnics, parties and Labor Day
fun in the last 2 weeks, going down ½ pound is pretty damn good.
Of course, to
celebrate, as many of us eaters do, I ate too much for one day. But
the guilt of Diet 1 kept me from really pigging out.
Now, as we start moving
into fall, the goal will be to fight that annual urge to pack on
calories for the winter, a natural instinct most of us really don't
need anymore. Like eating 3 doughnuts at my writers group.
I did get in a morning
walk before the rain hit, and also got the front of my table cover
done.
Can
our hero, hit that 170 pound mark?
