Or Dull
Drums.
That
faint thought drumming in your head saying "I'm tired of all
this." That time, in every commitment you have ever had, that
it's just not worth the effort. Or you are just plain bored.
Forcing
down that first, small glass of water every morning, drawing that big
black 1 on your thumb, or just trying to find a marker to draw
it with.
Just
remembering to do 1 bite at a time seams like a hassle.
Try
writing this blog every day! Trying to come up with something you
think anybody would want to read.

problem is, it's that time of year. It's getting colder, nights are
getting longer, and nature all around you is going into hibernation.
You're
getting this natural urge to bulk up on lots of food for the winter,
stay in bed, and do nothing.
Probably
the hardest time of the year to start a diet.
But
here we are
The foot
is down and this blog, no matter how dull, forced or whatever, is
reminder to keep going.
I just
got off my butt and had that glass of water, and yes, it still tastes
like crap!
Now
where the hell is that marker?
The
point is that we are committed to this. Not because it's a whim, or
the latest trend, or just a good idea.
We are
here because this may just be our last chance to make whatever time
we have left on this planet.... better.
For some
of us, the Diet 1 made be just plain survival.
